Lead Insights / UX Researcher


For our Insights team we are looking for a Lead UX Researcher. Managing the development of this team, specialized in optimization by qualitative- and quantitative user research, while working a consulting job as UX Researcher.

In this job you report directly to the Unit Director and take a seat in the Concept & Design Lead Management Team. Your mission is to bring deep customer insights that serve as a basis for designing, concepting and optimizing the customer experience. So, both foundational and directional research. Through a mixed set of qualitative and quantitative research methods and techniques, you and the team aim to continuously improve applications for our clients.

You will work on this by:  

  • Doing user research with customers and translating this research into actionable insights;
  • Using insights to engage stakeholders and influencing strategic decisions on product roadmaps;
  • Feeding back insights into sprints of product teams, aligning with their scrum rhythm; 
  • Helping to set up design sprints to explore insights into defining new features;
  • Helping to create a system that can quantify the results of design decisions, to show the impact and business value on customer experience;
  • Building a collaboration with the Artificial Intelligence & Analytics department (Data Scientists);
  • Training colleagues and clients in user research methods and in organizing and moderating user tests;

Qualitative and quantitative research tools are familiar weapons for you to validate assumptions and shape distinctive value propositions. You communicate the design thinking mindset with ease and confidence to the boardrooms.


  • you're a specialist in the field of UX research and digital strategy;
  • you have organizational awareness, shows empathy, patience and determination;
  • you're used to manage teams and convince stakeholders;
  • masters mixed research methods (quantitative and qualitative);
  • at least 7 years of working experience in user research and digital;
  • you're an expert in human-centered design research;
  • passion for UX, innovation and digital services/products;
  • able to translate research into actionable insights;
  • experience with design strategy, sprints and service design tools such as service-blueprints and customer journey maps;
  • comfortable in presenting, being able to sell your story to stakeholders.

  1. The interview
    You will receive a response from us in no-time, either inviting you for a coffee or letting you know that your application has come to an end. During your first meeting, we’ll invite you to our office, followed by one or two more meetings in which we’ll get to know each other better.

  2. Screening and assessment
    A screening and assessment may be part of the application process, depending on the position. We’ll let you know well in advance if and when this will take place so you have plenty of time to prepare. Let us know if you’d like additional information.

  3. Proposal and contract

  4. Your first days
    Our new employees always start on the first working day of the month with a joint introduction day and tour of the company. This is a great way to quickly get to know the company and your colleagues in an informal setting.
